The angels came to visit me tonight
I felt the rustling silence of their flight
A heavy hand pressed against my back
I closed my eyes and everything was black

And somewhere in my prayers I heard my name
They whispered I had miracles to claim
But were they miracles of times gone by
Or ones that I would need in future time

I cannot know or hope to understand
But on the cross of Jesus I will stand

The miracle of life I plan to claim

The angels crowd around me as I cry
"Why god does my baby have to die?"
But I will not forsake my god, my king
He and Jesus hold the key to everything
